I’ve always wanted to shoot in this area and E and B were willing to troop all over the place with me! The colors and textures are fantastic – a photographer’s dream! E is due any day now with her first baby and the two of them couldn’t be any cuter. Makes me long for that first newborn experience again (just a little). Plus, could they be any more gorgeous? I can’t wait to meet their little guy in the next few weeks and he will definitely have a starring role here! Now that spring’s here, I’m gearing up for sessions again! So, hopefully my poor blog won’t be so abandoned!

It’s a wonderful thing to see a person you know in his “youth” grow into someone who you know will make an incredible dad. Pappa-to-be joined in the maternity session with an absolutely glowing E. They were so much fun, up for anything and so excited to meet their baby boy. Stay tuned for that because their newborn images are going up next and he is gorgeous!

I was lucky enough to get to take pictures of this wonderful mama-to-be expecting her first baby. She’s surprising daddy-to-be with pictures of her adorable belly – how sweet is that? S lives close to the Lake and Lincoln Park and wanted to get some shots of their favorite places. One problem, it was FREEZING! S was such a trooper. Did I mention, it was FREEZING! S, hope you’re hanging in there!
