This little guy was supposed to be a newborn shoot – a shower gift certificate given to J, his mom. Well, for many reasons, it didn’t quite work out and we’ve been waiting for the perfect time to do our session. How cute is he? When I first arrived, his mom and dad warned me that he might not cooperate. Ha ha, little did they know he was going to be a perfect model. Lots of smiles, lots of sweet looks and lots of patience for changing his clothes. Plus, the weather held and the light was gorgeous. Definitely worth a trip to the suburbs! Hope it was worth the wait B Family.
I really couldn’t decide what to put up. Don’t worry though, you won’t have to wait long. Your gallery should be up tomorrow.
(and how gorgeous are his eyes????)

I had such a nice time with the N family. After cancellations for weather, sniffles and even the flu, we finally got our session in! And, what a perfect day. It was a little chilly, but little R was such a trooper. Is he cute or what? He and his adorable cousin, M, are going to make quite a little pair as they get older! Okay, I’ll stop talking and give you what you came for. . .images! Crazy busy with sessions, so get ready for more sneak peeks next week! Thanks L and E, I hope you love your gallery!

Big brother M and little brother E couldn’t be sweeter. M is so sweet and kind to his little brother – he really wanted to take pictures with little E. I had a great time talking with M. After he told me that his favorite color was black and that he liked to play air keyboards, I had to stop in a (not so nicely smelling) alley for an impromptu “air” concert. I LOVE the concentration!

Oh my goodness, little Miss T was 9 pounds and seven ounces of pure perfection. Look at those lips and that hair. Plus, she was a dream to photograph – either sleeping, eating or calmly staring at the camera!
This baby girl’s parents won my services at an auction for our neighborhood school and meeting her mom while she was pregnant, I knew she would have a gorgeous baby! I had a great day with her family, even getting little brother B in on the action. He is going to be a great big brother. I bet he is getting lots of attention from his grandmother. The unusually large number of images in this sneak peek are just for Grandma since M told me that she doesn’t have a computer and also because several of the images were taken on her mother’s afghan (that’s your great-grandmother, Miss T!). I love it when clients use meaningful blankets or other items in their images.
Hope you love them A Family! There are so many beautiful ones still to come.

I’ve been so busy looking at other people’s kids, I decided it was time to take my girls out for a few. There is a spot right near my house that I’ve driven around so many times thinking about all the great colors and textures. I’ve always been just a little afraid that I’d be kicked out since it’s all private businesses. Today was surprisingly nice (rain, rain, rain, please go away so I can fit all these sessions in!). So, off we went to try to get a few holiday pictures! The girls were great. L did not want to cooperate for long, but I still got some good ones and G is the best daughter a photographer could ask for. Always willing to try anything and even coming up with some good shots herself!
Okay, back to editing! K Family look for something later tonight and E Family, yours should be ready tomorrow!
